# CuraVerto Teleconsult

CuraVerto Teleconsult is a video consultation feature built into the
CuraVerto platform, using the same patient record, prescription system, and
WhatsApp thread as an in-person visit rather than operating as a separate
telemedicine app.

## How it works

1. **Patient books on WhatsApp.** A patient messages "book" on WhatsApp;
   CuraVerto's bot confirms the appointment and sends a video link. No app
   download is required.
2. **Patient joins from anywhere.** One tap on the WhatsApp link opens the
   video room, on any smartphone or laptop, with no installation.
3. **AI writes notes live.** CuraVerto's AI scribe listens during the call
   and extracts symptoms, diagnosis, medications, and follow-up instructions
   in real time.
4. **Prescription is delivered before the call ends.** The doctor writes and
   sends the prescription inside the same interface; the patient receives it
   on WhatsApp before the video call closes.

  diagnosis, medications, and labs live during the call, reviewed and
  confirmed by the doctor before the prescription is sent
- In-call prescription writing, delivered on WhatsApp the moment it is sent
- Call recording with patient consent logged and stored against the
  appointment record
- Post-call AI summary: a 3–5 sentence clinical summary generated
  automatically after every call and saved to the patient record
- Works across specialties: general practice, paediatrics, gynaecology,
  dermatology, psychiatry, cardiology, and ENT

## Availability

Teleconsult is available on every CuraVerto plan, including Essential. It is
not gated to a specific tier. It is metered at ₹5 per minute for video/audio,
with recording included; an optional AI transcript is available at ₹3 per
minute.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do patients need to download an app?** No. Patients receive a WhatsApp
link and join the video room with one tap.

**Does it work on mobile?** Yes. Both doctor and patient can join from any
smartphone or laptop; no special hardware is required.

**Is the AI scribe available during video consultations?** Yes. It listens
during the call using medical-grade transcription and extracts symptoms,
diagnosis, medications, and follow-up instructions in real time. The doctor
reviews and confirms before the prescription is sent.

**Which clinic types can use it?** Any clinic on any CuraVerto plan,
including Essential. Teleconsult works across all specialties.
