--- title: IVF Cryo Management url: https://curaverto.com/emr/ivf-cryo-management updated: 2026-08-28 source: first-party vendor documentation --- # IVF Cryo Management CuraVerto's cryo management module replaces a paper cryo logbook with a digital inventory for vitrified embryos, oocytes, and sperm samples — tracked to tank, canister, goblet, and straw, and linked to every patient and IVF cycle. It is part of CuraVerto's integrated IVF EMR, gated to the Plus plan. ## What the cryo module covers - **Tank-level inventory**: each sample is assigned a tank ID, canister, goblet, and straw at vitrification. Samples are searchable by patient, cycle date, or storage location. - **Embryo and oocyte tracking**: vitrified Day-3 and Day-5 blastocysts and oocyte cohorts are logged, with status updating automatically on thaw, transfer, or discard events. - **Consent expiry alerts**: automated WhatsApp and in-app reminders fire as cryo storage consent approaches its anniversary, so samples are not stored beyond patient authorisation. - **FET cycle linkage**: scheduling a frozen embryo transfer shows available embryo inventory and links the selected straw to the transfer cycle record, eliminating double-entry. - **Liquid nitrogen logs**: LN₂ fill dates and levels are recorded per tank, with who-filled-when tracking and low-level flags. - **ICMR cryo reporting**: cryo status (fresh, vitrified, thawed, discarded, donated) is captured at entry and included in the ICMR ART annual export. ## Relationship to the rest of the IVF EMR Cryo inventory is linked to the same cycle record used by the lab and clinical modules — embryology grading determines what enters cryo storage, and FET scheduling reads from the same inventory. This removes the need for a separate cryo spreadsheet or physical logbook alongside the clinic's EMR. ## Plan The IVF and Fertility module, including cryo management, requires the Plus plan (₹49,999/year). --- Canonical: https://curaverto.com/emr/ivf-cryo-management Contact: sales@curaverto.com This document is CuraVerto's own description of its product.
